Exchange and Return Policy for Hindusthan Supermart
At Hindusthan Supermart, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to exchange or return an item, please review the following guidelines:
Timeframe: You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange for eligible items. After this 14-day period, we are unable to accept returns for non-perishable items.
Eligibility: To be eligible for an exchange or return (excluding specific perishable items), the item must be unused and in its original packaging, with all tags and seals intact. A valid bill or proof of purchase is required for all exchanges and returns.
Important Notes for Returns (Non-Perishable Items):
● To qualify for a return, the product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
● The product must also be in its original packaging.
● Perishable items such as fresh vegetables, fruits, frozen food, and similar items have a separate, shorter return window as outlined below.
How to Initiate an Exchange or Return:
Please contact us via email at info@hindusthansupermart.com to initiate your exchange or return. Please provide your order number (if applicable), details about the item you wish to exchange or return, and the reason. Please also include a copy of your bill or order confirmation.
Eligible Cases for Exchange or Return (Non-Perishable Items):
● Damaged or Incorrect Item Received: If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please notify us immediately. Please provide your bill or proof of purchase when contacting us.
● Improperly Sealed Product Upon Delivery: If a product is not properly sealed upon arrival, please contact us. Your bill or proof of purchase will be required.
● Product Expiration Before Delivery: If a product's expiration date has passed before you receive it, it is eligible for exchange or return. Please have your bill or proof of purchase ready.
Cancellation Policy:
Order cancellations are accepted only if the product has not yet been shipped (for online orders) or before it has been processed for in-store pickup. If your cancellation is accepted, a full refund will be processed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
Refunds (Non-Perishable Items):
Refunds will be issued upon receiving and inspecting the returned item. Once the returned item is approved, we will initiate the refund process. Please note that a valid bill or proof of purchase is required for all refunds. It may take 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment method.
Perishable Items (Vegetables, Fruits, Paneer):
● We recommend removing vegetables, fruits, and paneer from their packaging immediately upon receipt and storing them under refrigeration.
● The return window for vegetables, fruits, and paneer is 12 hours after delivery.
● If you have a complaint regarding the quality of perishable items within this 12-hour window, please share pictures of the damaged items with us.
● Important: Hindusthan Supermart is not responsible for the quality of perishable goods if you are unavailable to receive them on the scheduled delivery day, leading to delays and potential product spoilage.
Lost or Damaged Packages During Transit:
In the unlikely event that your package is lost or damaged during shipping, we will resend the item or issue a refund after contacting you to determine the best course of action.
Late or Missing Refunds:
If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@hindusthansupermart.com.
Exchanges:
We only offer replacements for defective or damaged goods (excluding perishables outside of their 12-hour window). To request an exchange, please email us at [Insert Hindusthan Supermart Email Address here, e.g., [email address removed]].
Shipping for Returns:
● To return a product, please mail the item to:

● You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund
● The time it takes for an exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.
● We advise using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance when returning items, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
In-Store Returns/Exchanges in Taufkirchen:
For purchases made in our store, you can also process exchanges and returns directly at the store during our opening hours. Please bring your original receipt or other valid proof of purchase.
Note on Special Offers:
Products purchased under special offer promotions are not eligible for returns or refunds. Only regularly priced items can be refunded
